Putney Salsa Club

Putney Salsa Club is the south-west London night run by Incognito Dance at The Dance Lab, 63a Upper Richmond Road. Unlike the weekly clubs in the group, it runs once a month on a Saturday, and the organisers say it usually brings together 250–300 dancers.

The evening starts with a bachata class at 7:30pm, followed by a salsa class from 8:30pm, and the dance floor stays open until midnight. All levels are welcome, absolute beginners included, and you do not need a partner or a booking. The class-plus-club ticket was £16 when we last checked.

The venue is about a minute's walk from East Putney (District line) and Putney mainline station, which makes it easy to reach from Wimbledon, Fulham and central London. Upcoming dates listed for 2026 are 31 October (a Halloween party), 28 November and 12 December, so check the dates before you travel.

Putney Salsa Club offers various dance workshops including 3-hour Salsa and Bachata intensive workshops suitable for beginners and improvers. They also provide a range of courses for all levels. Workshops are available as one-off events.
