Hammersmith Salsa & Bachata Club

Hammersmith Salsa & Bachata Club is Incognito Dance's Wednesday night in West London, held at 11 Rutland Grove, W6 9DH. It is one of the busiest nights in the group: the organisers report 200–250 dancers every week.

Both classes are taught in six levels. Bachata runs from 7:30pm to 8:30pm and salsa from 8:40pm to 9:40pm, so a beginner and a more experienced dancer can each find a suitable room. Social dancing then continues from 9:40pm until 11pm. No partner or advance booking is needed, and the class-plus-club ticket was £16 (club only £10) when we last checked.

The hall has a raised balcony overlooking the dance floor, which gives the night a proper club feel rather than that of a classroom. Hammersmith station is a six-minute walk away, and the Hammersmith Club venue is shared with a swing night, Swingland, on other evenings.
