What Is Bhangra?

Bhangra is a traditional folk dance from the Punjab region of South Asia, originally performed during the Vaisakhi harvest festival. It is characterised by vigorous, high-energy movements including jumping, shoulder shrugs, arm raises and rhythmic footwork, typically performed to the beat of the dhol drum.
