About Reynolds Dance Academy

Reynolds Dance Academy (RDA) has been teaching dance in Barnet since 2004, when it was founded as Dance Wright. The academy now runs classes across two Hertfordshire and North London sites — Barnet and Welwyn Garden City — for students aged 3 to 18, alongside a dedicated adult programme.

Ballet follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus and Tap follows the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) syllabus, with regular graded exams. Beyond ballet and tap, students can also study contemporary, street dance and jazz, plus acting and singing for those pursuing the full performing arts route.

Structured Syllabi, Regular Exams and Big Community Shows

All teachers hold RAD and ISTD teaching qualifications alongside professional performance experience. Students take part in regular community performances throughout the year, building up to large bi-annual shows that showcase the whole school.

The academy offers a nurturing, structured environment for beginners through to exam-level dancers, with private lessons and a free trial class available for prospective students.
