About McGahan Lees Irish Dance Academy Winchmore Hill
McGahan Lees Irish Dance Academy was founded by Frances McGahan in 1996 and is registered with An Coimisiún le Rincí Gaelacha, a governing body of Irish dance based in Dublin, Ireland. The Academy has grown to include multiple locations across SE England and Europe, including classes in Essex, Kent, North and South London, as well as in Prague and Warsaw.
The Academy offers classes for all ages, starting from four years old, and caters to various skill levels, from beginners to Open Championship World Medal holders. Classes focus on Irish Dance and include opportunities for competition.

Classes for All Ages and Levels
McGL has produced eight World Champions and 14 All Ireland Champions over its 25 years. The Academy emphasizes support for dancers through initiatives like “Friends of McGahan Lees,” ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder progress.
