About Firststeps School of Dance
Firststeps School of Dance was founded in 2003 by Sue and Kit Dickinson in Haringey, North London. The school aims to spread the joy of dance and provide a nurturing environment for students of all ages.
Firststeps offers a variety of classes including ballet and jazz dance for children and adults. The curriculum includes Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus classes, graded and vocational levels, and conditioning classes.
Over 40 Styles Taught by Industry Professionals Since 2003
The school emphasizes a structured approach to dance education, with qualified teachers who are DBS checked and fulfill annual Continuing Professional Development requirements. Students can also prepare for RAD examinations and participate in workshops and performances.
