Ballet Black

Ballet Black was founded in 2001 by Cassa Pancho OBE and is the UK and Europe's first black professional neoclassical ballet company. The company aims to promote inclusivity and showcase diversity in classical ballet.

The school offers classes for children aged three to eighteen in ballet and contemporary dance, with both non-syllabus and Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus Examination classes. Locations include Shepherds Bush, Marylebone, and Stratford.

Ballet Black emphasizes representation by employing black and brown role models as instructors. The school has educated hundreds of children and has seen many students progress to prestigious dance institutions.
