Dance-A-Thon

What will the day consist of?

The day will consist of a variety of fun, exciting and diverse dance classes which will enable the dancers to complete their danceathon challenge. We would like to invite friends and family to join us on the day to take part in the dance classes for just a small donation of £10 at the door in exchange for a full day of dance classes. All abilities and ages are welcome to join in the classes with a waiting/ viewing area for those who would prefer to watch with refreshments and cake!

What are we fundraising for?

DSL advocates quality and accessible dance education for all, thats why we invite all DSL students, family, friends and the local community to take part in a great day of dancing which will help raise money to provide students with uniform and scholarships to ensure every student has access to inclusive and quality dance education. 

Sponsorship

Friends and family can sponsor a student to complete the Dance-A-Thon challenge, you can do this by filling out the students sponsorship form and donating either in person or online. All money collected will be pooled together to provide each student with a basic uniform and scholarship fund.

How will the donation and sponsorship money be used?

100% of the donation and sponsorship money will be used to benefit the dance students at all DSL partner schools. The goal is to first provide each student with a basic uniform, then additional equipment to enhance the students learning and finally a scholarship fund.

How does it work?

We have only a few weeks to collect as many sponsors as possible before the Dance-A-Thon on Sunday 24th November. Sponsors can give the donations to the student before or after the event which will be passed to the appropriate person.

What if we don’t raise enough money?

We of course hope to raise enough money to provide each student with a full basic uniform and access to a scholarship however, if we fall short of our target we will provide every student with the essential and hold another fundraiser next term to hopefully fulfill our goal.

Can you help?

We are looking for parents and friends to help us reach our goal. If you work for a company that would be interesting in donating, or maybe you can bake delicious cupcakes to sell at the Dance- A-Thon, we welcome everyone who would like to support dance education. Get in touch today: info@dancestudiolondon.com

This event is not mandatory however, for a student to benefit from the fundraiser the student has to be involved in raising donations/sponsorship and dancing at the Dance-A-Thon on Sunday 24th November. We are asking students to bring friends and family to the event to help us truly celebrate and support the students passion for dance.

All money raised will be divided equally between all students that take part in the Danceathon.
